Respectful support, tailored to the individual
We provide respectful, practical support that helps clients feel safe, comfortable and more independent.
Our work starts with the person, their goals, choices and what meaningful support looks like in everyday life.

Support with purpose
We are a Sydney-based disability support service working with clients with a wide range of needs. We exist to help people build greater independence while feeling supported, safe and comfortable.
We consider it a privilege to be part of a client’s life. That responsibility shapes how we work: with respect, care and a positive attitude, always focused on meaningful, person-centred support.
What guides our support
Our approach is practical and personal. These principles reflect the way we aim to support each client.
Respect first
We treat every client with respect and recognise the trust involved in providing support.
Choice and independence
We support clients to build independence and work towards goals that matter to them.
Safety and comfort
We want clients to feel safe, comfortable and supported in the people and arrangements around them.
Meaningful participation
We value support that helps people take part in everyday life and pursue meaningful goals.
Support shaped through real relationships
Respectful support grows from listening, consistency and time spent understanding the person.
We work with clients and families to understand goals, preferences and what helps the client feel comfortable. That shared understanding helps our team provide practical support with care and consistency.
Why Essential Assistant Care began
Essential Assistant Care began in early 2025, inspired by our founder’s family experience.
Her two brothers were diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth, and she saw how thoughtful support workers helped them build independence, set meaningful goals and live fulfilling lives.
That experience shaped the organisation we are building: one grounded in compassionate, empowering and person-centred support, with every client’s individual goals at the centre.

Relationships make support work
Effective support depends on respectful, reliable relationships.
Our team brings care, positive attitudes and a shared commitment to supporting clients towards their individual goals.

Rosalyn Hill
“Brooke and Claudia have been of great assistance in helping my daughter with skills needed for independence … My daughter always looks forward to sessions with them and greatly benefits from their assistance.”
